The U.V. filtering clear polycarbonate tubeguard has 0% U.V. transmittance below 390 nanometers. Polycarbonate is an unbreakable type material and tubes are intended for use in museums, art galleries, libraries and other areas where U.V. degradation is critical. Field testing each application, after installation, is recommended and the responsibility of the user to assure proper filtering requirement is met.
