Description
Two things inspired the Shannon two-light wall sconce in Antique Gild. The frame is based on a vintage chandelier from the Chapman design studio archives, and the glass drops were based on a cast glass vase with a beautiful rippled texture. The metal frame of the chandelier has a curved profile. The one end of each arm supports a light while a glass drop hangs from the other, and the metal arm curves up and around in one continuous visual length. The central hub has the same hourglass profile as the Westerly Chandelier. The signature detail of the design is the unique glass drops with an organic rippled texture that almost resembles melting ice and refracts the light beautifully.
